New York City circa 2013
The following photos were taken with a Canon point-and-shoot camera. The SD card had been sitting in the camera for the past 10 years, waiting to be discovered.
I imported the photos to Lightroom to see if any were worth keeping. To my surprise, there were more than a few that made the cut. Most were tossed for blurry images or lack of “pizazz’. After making a few tweaks in Lightroom, these are the ones I decided were worth sharing.
My daughter and I took the trip to NYC in December of 2023. When we arrived early that morning, it began to snow. It was so beautiful. It snowed for the majority of the day, and it was so cold. By the end of the day, after walking around to explore the city, we were both frozen solid.
New York City is a great place to practice street photography. A plethora of buildings, people, cars, hustle and bustle. And one can always visit Central Park for wildlife and landscape photos.
Although that trip was the coldest I have ever been, the photos are a great reminder of the wonderful trip and the memories made with my daughter.
